On June 25, 2023, at 5pm, Jospeh Stigora will deliver a lecture on the local church’s role in advocating for life in the Post-Roe era. While the Supreme Court’s recent reversal of Roe v. Wade provided an immense step forward in protecting the rights of the unborn in America, Christians must recognize that the work of the pro-life movement is far from over. How can we engage thoughtfully with our friends and neighbors, many of whom lament the Dobbs decision? What can local churches do to care for vulnerable and abortion-minded women in our communities? How can we as Christians advocate the beauty of the biblical ethic and provide better answers and solutions than simply “Stop it; that’s wrong”? In what ways can we as Protestants join with Catholics in this cause, and what does that responsibility look like for local churches? Joseph Stigora plans to address questions like these in his lecture.

Joseph serves as a pastor at Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA.
